CAS Blog 5 - Service - Learning Outcome 5

On March 21st, 2021, I got my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. For this year, this was one of the great ways that I got to serve my local community. I, fortunately, was one of the few people in my age group that could actually attain one. I found that Not only am I helping myself, but I am also playing my part in the reduction of the SARS-COV-2 virus. I got this inoculation with my sister, who I am very close to. My sister and I both put our effort into lessening an issue of global significance, the Covid-19 pandemic. I am extremely happy that we had the eligibility and opportunity to participate in this global effort.
