Fishing in Galveston - Activity - LO1

On a beautiful Galveston Saturday morning, I went fishing in a spot near my house. The wind wasn't too strong, the sun was out, and I hadn't been fishing in a long time. During this time, the fish inside the inlet I was fishing in were not very diverse, and I used a lot of energy trying to catch any large fish such as groupers. To no avail, I didn't get any of the fish that I hoped for, but I did end up catching something rather scary-looking.

-This is a ribbonfish. Not only are they decently hard to catch, but they are also very stubborn fish in general.

-Eventually, I was able to throw the fish back into the body of water, but it was most definitely tiring.

To conclude, I strengthened my fishing abilities, and through the introduction of new marine life, I was able to grow my knowledge more-so on fishing.
