CAS Project Part 2 - Kung Fu - Creativity- Learning Outcome 7

On our fifth day of the Chinese cultural J-Term, we went to a kung fu workshop. We not only went to participate in the performance of the sacred Chinese martial art, but we also came to learn the history behind it and other attributes that come with Kung Fu. The Kung Fu master of this facility not only told us how to use this art in self-defence but also how we can attain the necessary mindset that falls in line with learning outcome seven. The master told us that this art should only be used in a situation when self-defense is required, and how it isn't ethical to purely attack anyone with Kung Fu. He also remarked on how our discretion in a situation that requires self-defense and using Kung Fu, is really dependant on our and others' choices.

I thought that this learning outcome lines up more with the creative mental mindset that you can attain from Kung Fu, hence why this is also labeled as a creative reflection.

Above is my group and I after learning about the mindset of kungfu, and doing some other activities.
