Scavenger Hunt in Chinatown - Activity

During our J-Term, we embarked on a plethora of interesting activities that were themed with the Chinese culture. One of the most fun and active portions of this J-term, was the scavenger hunt inside of China town, Houston. We first looked for specific Chinese characters (typically in the names of restaurants) that would help us complete the first part of the challenge. The hardest and second part was asking specific individuals throughout Chinatown about what province in China that they were from, that ended up being pretty fun. Our last and most interesting part of this hunt was going to a Chinese supermarket to find certain brands that correlated with our task.

This is an antique shop near the super market, this was one of the places that we visited for checking people's geographic origins.

Overall, it was a very fun day filled with ~3hrs of walking around Chinatown, and I would happily do it again if given the opportunity.
