Sewing Fabric in Art - Creativity - LO1

Today I'm working on one of the most intuitive artworks that I have made in art class! I based this on the star symbol seen in most compasses, which also symbolizes the north star. This was a new medium of art for me, so I was essentially learning the core sewing strategies while creating it!

-This was the image that I used to brainstorm my art piece.
-I found this on a random google search, and it was the most helpful research I made for this project.

-This was a rough draft of my work!
-Of course, I still had to sharpen certain edges on the art piece and add on more triangles, but it was still really fun to make progress on this.
-Although I never got to finish it to my exact expectations, I still got the opportunity to grow my knowledge of the visual arts with a new medium.
